Leica Camera AG would like to announce the following change in the company’s management level staff. Dr Thomas Riegler, member of the Board since 2020 and responsible for Finance, Controlling, Legal & Compliance, IT, Human Resources, Indirect Purchasing and Facility Management, will leave the company at his own request on 31 March. Known as a restructuring manager, Dr Thomas Riegler worked very successfully for the company from 2019, first as an interim Chief Financial Officer, then as a member of the Executive Board as a result of the Covid 19 crisis. He is jointly responsible for the fact that Leica Camera AG can look back on an extraordinarily positive fiscal year in economically challenging times.
Dr Andreas Kaufmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Leica Camera AG, thanks Riegler for his commitment. "Now that Leica Camera AG has returned to safe waters, Dr Thomas Riegler has decided to take on new challenges as crisis and interim manager. The company owes him a lot. It is with regret that we have mutually agreed to the termination of his contract and wish him all the best and much success for the future".
